phlipple software package provides reduce 3D shapes to a single square, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install phlipple
phlipple is installed in your system.
Make ensure the phlipple package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep phlipple *
You will get with phlipple package name, version, architecture and description in a table
